Types Of Socks You Can Wear

By Mattea | September 21, 2016

There are so many different types of socks. It’s pretty amazing, if you ask me.  So without further ado, let’s talk socks:

Kimchi Socks 101

Ankle/Low-Cut/Athletic Socks

Ankle socks are probably my favorite style to wear. They’re comfortable and versatile. They are typically used in casual dressing and paired with shorts. If you wear ankle socks, chances are you enjoy living a fast-paced lifestyle and you enjoy exercising your mind and body on a daily basis. Sometimes socks such as these are made to enhance athletic performance—trapping in heat for winter sports, riding sweat, and increasing comfort. Talk about the perfect workout socks!

Knee-Length Socks

These are my favorite to wear during the winter. I love putting on a long pair of socks and cozying up next to the fire with a cup of hot chocolate and a good movie. Nothing beats those nights! Knee-length socks are quite the fad as of recent. Celebrities have been seen wearing longer socks and longer boots. Join the latest rage!

Dress Socks

These socks are usually made to be worn at occasions requiring a suit or business outfit. Typically, they come in more neutral colors, and the typical pattern is a classic argyle.

These socks tend to cut off mid calf. These can be used in many different situations. Many different athletic brands have socks at this length for working out. Our Kimchi Socks are typically made at this length—making your outfits more versatile. You can wear this length pretty much any time of the year. Because the sock only covers half of your shin, you won’t get too hot in the summer, and since they cover more than ankle socks, they’ll keep you warmer in the winter. Kimchi Socks has a nice, soft, lightweight fabric that will keep you comfortable and in good spirits no matter what time of the year you wear your socks.
