Winter– it’s the finest season of them all. It is the season of giving, layered clothing, and peppermint mocha flavor! One of my favorite things about the season is the amount of socks that are available to snag. Socks have a big influence of winter style, and when you can be comfortable and stylish, you’re in luck.
Personally, I have three styles of socks I enjoy wearing in the winter. One of the three types are wool socks! Wool socks are those one pair you enjoy pulling the bottom of your sock drawer when the cold weather swifts in. There’s nothing like kicking your feet up in a pair of woolies and enjoying a warm coffee in the winter. I usually don’t wear them with looks, and keep them for “around the house” days.
CABLE. KNIT. IS. LIFE. Judge me, call me a grand-dad, but I have a deep love for cable knit sweaters. Cable knit socks are even better. The knit design is one that is a classic that can hardly ever be styled wrong. The cable knit socks are a great addition to a layered look for the season. The famous L.L. Bean Boots, or your everyday longer length boot are a great decision to pair with the sock style.
Last, but not least, is the cashmere sock. Cashmere is one of the best material that you can put on your feet. It’s not too thick, or too thin. Most of the cashmere blend socks I’ve come across, are solid colors, which is fitting for a dapper look. Now, go check out some good socks at kimchisocks.com!
